Head of Digital Communications

Acumen Republic has created a new position for a Senior Digital Communications Consultant to join our Auckland OR Wellington office to help to spearhead our growing digital and social media market presence, including supporting the development of new opportunities, and harnessing and growing the team's capabilities.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your digital expertise in a multi-channel environment, working across the full spectrum of corporate and marketing communications, with a covetable list of clients.
We are seeking a person with deep and broad digital expertise, including on-line PR and advertising programmes, social media and content creation, both from a strategy and execution standpoint. The successful candidate will be experienced in leading digital strategy and programmes at scale on behalf of brands and organisations in Australasia, or further afield.
They will be able to understand and translate complex business challenges into smart digital solutions and be an experienced manager who can interface with senior clients, drive programmes forward, and mobilise and motivate account teams to ensure quality outcomes.
The appointee will have up to eight years of relevant experience in digital marketing and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media, publishing or PR.
Acumen Republic is a corporate and marketing PR consultancy with offices in Auckland, Wellington and Sydney, and with in-house design and research teams. The Senior Digital Communications Consultant will work closely with these two teams for creative resource, content generation and search capabilities, and work with our corporate, consumer, marketing and events management consulting teams across all three offices to deliver superb digital results for our clients.
The appointee could be a person who is already looking to relocate to New Zealand.

Senior Agency Events Role
Auckland or Wellington
We are looking for Senior Events practitioners to join our team in Auckland or Wellington. If you have the ability to lead a small dedicated team, an amazing eye for detail combined with creative flair, and a passion for delivering outstanding events, we would like to hear from you.
We are a specialisted team within a broader communications consultancy, meaning you'll be working alongside some of New Zealand's leading public relations and marketing professionals, as well as other outstanding event managers. We deliver corporate events and consumer activations for our blue-chip client roster.
The right candidates will have 7+ years' events experience, ideally with some of that gained in an agency environment, and will need to demonstrate the ability to, and have a proven track record in:
- Managing and delivering large and small scale events, end-to-end
- Developing and managing proposals, critical paths, run plans and budgets
- Effectively managing teams and multiple projects
- Building relationships internally and externally to support individual, team and client goals
- Identifying and securing new business.
We want individuals with a positive, motivated approach, outstanding interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for, and commitment to, the business of event management. You will need to enjoy working in a demanding consulting environment and have the ability to thrive on challenges with a varied workload in a fast-paced business that also offers a lot of variety.
