Mastercard ‘Switch On’ campaign: Getting businesses contactless

Switch On, a new Mastercard campaign, educates business owners about the benefits of contactless payments and ensure they are prepared for a more digital and cashless world.

We worked with Mastercard to develop a campaign to educate and encourage businesses to Switch On contactless payments on their terminals.

As part of this campaign there are some commonly held myths about contactless payments that we want to ‘bust’. Kiwis are technologically savvy, and are amongst the highest users of contactless in the world. In fact 72% of New Zealanders regularly use contactless payments, an increase of 28% from just two years ago. The ease, efficiency and convenience of accepting digital payments can make a large difference to the bottom line of a cash-handling business.

We spoke to a range of Kiwi businesses about how contactless payments are helping them day-to-day. Small and medium sized businesses can listen to other businesses talk about how, through enabling contactless payments, they provide better customer service, convenience and innovation.

We developed and designed the Switch On website and its content, created the case study business videos, and designed the advertising creative.
