2017 Acumen Edelman Trust Barometer Research

March - 2017

The 2017 Acumen Republic Trust Barometer shows a global implosion of trust across the institutions of government, business, media and NGOs.

Adelle Keely and Bronwyn Millar shared the results at Auckland and Wellington breakfast events and were joined by well-informed leaders representing a range of institutions to share their perspectives on the results and discuss the potential implications for us in New Zealand.

We were delighted to host Duncan Greive, Editor, The Spinoff; Kirk Hope, Chief Executive, BusinessNZ; Dr Farah Palmer, Senior Lecturer, Massey University; Director, New Zealand Rugby; Director, Te Au Rangahau – Maori Business & Leadership Centre and Abbie Reynolds, Executive Director, Sustainable Business Council. Our panellists were excellent and shared valuable insights. We appreciated the opportunity to welcome back David Brain, President and Chief Executive Officer, Edelman Asia Pacific, Middle East & Asia who provided a global perspective on the results.

Michael Dunlop also facilitated lively, informative discussions among clients and influencers in attendance.
