Senior Account Manager Communications Role – Wellington

Blue-chip communications business advisory agency Acumen Republic continues to grow and is seeking a senior account manager with government experience to join our Wellington team.

This is a new role where you will provide corporate and government relations advice to our clients. You will work across projects in both the private and public sector, creating conversations across multiple stakeholders that help our clients solve problems and create opportunities.

The successful applicant will be a strong communicator, with experience in government, policy and corporate communications and with a good understanding of the media landscape. The successful candidate will have over five years’ experience.

You will work in account teams drawn from our Auckland and Wellington offices for our clients who are market leaders in the technology, food and lifestyle, construction, transport or financial/professional services sectors.

You need to be insightful, responsive, have high energy and enjoy being part of a team and a fast-paced environment. You will work alongside some of the best in the business and be well-supported with positive leadership and training, a talented team, and a flexible working environment.
